We are seeking a proactive and organised Logistics Assistant to join the team at Cargem. You will be responsible for the daily movement and management of vehicles, working closely with the Logistics Controller to ensure vehicles are moved efficiently between sites.
You will be responsible for updating our DMS, maintaining accurate vehicle movement records, and supporting the smooth running of logistics operations. When the Logistics Controller is on site, you will carry out planned vehicle movements by driving vehicles between locations. In the absence of the Logistics Controller, you will take responsibility for organising vehicle movements, coordinating drivers, and managing the daily logistics schedule.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive vehicles between locations as required.
- Assist the Logistics Controller with day-to-day logistics operations.
- Plan and coordinate vehicle movements between sites.
- Organise drivers and vehicle movements in the absence of the Logistics Controller.
- Maintain accurate records and update the DMS.
- Track inbound and outbound vehicle movements.
- Support general logistics administration.
Skills & Experience
- Previous experience in logistics, transport, or vehicle movements preferred.
- Good organisational and communication skills.
- Ability to manage priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Full UK driving licence essential.
- For insurance purposes you are required to be 25 and over
This role is ideal for someone who is organised, reliable, and enjoys working in a busy logistics environment with responsibility for coordinating vehicle movements and supporting daily operations.

Working Hours

- 9am-6pm rotational basis with 60 minutes unpaid break
- Required to work every Saturday 9am-6pm
