Job Summary
We're looking for Science tutors in Watford (both experienced and beginners) who will captivate the attention of our students and inspire them to love Science as much as you do!
You will work with students from Years 7 to 11 in small groups and 1-1 sessions.
We'll be looking to you to grow their confidence and drive up their grades by sharing your deep knowledge of Biology, Chemistry & Physics. We'll also look to you as a role model, mentoring them to create a bulletproof mindset that's prepared to succeed - both in and out of the classroom.

Duties
- Deliver customised tutoring sessions aligned with the national curriculum and major exam boards like AQA, Edexcel and OCR, adapting teaching methods to meet individual student needs
- Assess students’ strengths and areas for improvement to develop effective learning plans
- Support students with homework, exam preparation, and skill development strategies
- Track and document student progress regularly, providing feedback to parents or guardians as appropriate
Qualifications & Requirements
- Must have minimum grade 7 for GCSE Science
- Must have both UK GCSE & A-Level qualifications in Sciences
- Must have excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain concepts clearly and patiently
- Must have passion for Sciences and helping students achieve their full potential
- Helpful: tutoring experience is valued but not required
- Helpful: enhanced DBS certificate (we can apply for one if required)
Job Types: Part-time, Zero hours contract, Graduate
Pay: £11.00-£20.00 per hour
