Job Role and Overview
As a Senior Carer you will play a crucial role in ensuring our clients receive exceptional, person-centred care in their own homes. You will lead and support a dedicated team of care workers, providing guidance, training, and motivation to ensure high standards of care and professional conduct.
*Your responsibilities include welcoming new clients to the service, conducting first visits, completing assessments, and developing personalised care plans. You will also conduct risk assessments, and maintain strong relationships with clients and their families.
*With a focus on quality improvement and innovation, you will enhance the wellbeing of our service users and uphold their dignity and independence. This rewarding role requires a Level 3 NVQ in Health and Social Care (or equivalent) and at least 1year+ proven mentorship experience in domiciliary care.
Location:
The service users’ premises, but you may be required to work from time to time from other locations e.g. the office or external training facilities.
Working Hours
5 days over a 7 day period, with varying shift patterns based on your hours of work. Participating in the on-call rota to provide out of hours support to the care team.

Role specific Duties
Lead, manage, and support a team of domiciliary care workers, providing guidance, motivation, mentoring and development opportunities .
Conduct one-on-one supervisions and group discussions to ensure staff are informed, supported, and are meeting performance standards.
Act as a role model, demonstrating best practices in care delivery and professional behaviour.
Develop and maintain detailed and personalized care plans for each client, ensuring their individual needs, preferences, and goals are met.
Regularly review and update care plans in response to changing client needs and feedback.
Ensure care plans comply with regulatory standards and company policies working closely with the Registered Manager & Care Coordinator to implement changes and improvements where applicable.
Conduct comprehensive risk assessments for all clients, identifying potential hazards and implementing strategies to mitigate risks.
Monitor and review risk assessments regularly, adapting plans as necessary to ensure ongoing client safety.
Train staff on identifying and managing risks effectively.
Ensure the delivery of care services meets the highest standards of quality and safety.
Conduct audits, spot checks, and feedback sessions to continuously improve service delivery.
Handle concerns and manage incidents effectively, communicating relevant notices with the Registered Manager and other business leaders as appropriate, and, using them as opportunities for learning and improvement.
Pay: £14.65-£17.00 per hour
