Responsibilities

Lead and support pre-contract quantity surveying and procurement tasks.

Develop procurement documentation, tender packages, contract documents, and commercial reports.

Oversee tender processes, including evaluations and commercial assessments.

Ensure compliance with the Public Procurement Act 2023 and public sector procurement regulations.

Offer commercial advice and guidance to project managers, stakeholders, and delivery teams.

Assist in crafting procurement strategies that ensure best value and minimize commercial risks.

Analyse contract costs, budgets, and financial data to aid informed decision-making.
Requirements

Extensive experience as a Quantity Surveyor or Procurement Professional.

Proven track record in pre-contract and procurement activities within local authority or public sector settings.

Proficiency in managing tender processes, evaluations, and commercial assessments.

Experience in preparing contract documentation and procurement-related reports.

Background in supporting the commercial management of construction, infrastructure, or public sector projects.
Essential Qualifications Required

Degree, HNC, HND, or equivalent in Quantity Surveying, Commercial Management, Construction Management, Procurement, or a related field.

Membership in a relevant professional body (e.g., RICS or CIPS) is desirable.
