About the Role
Gogomadu is a growing care provider delivering high-quality supported living and domiciliary care services across Kettering and surrounding areas. Due to continued expansion, we are recruiting reliable and compassionate Care Assistants to join our team.
This role involves providing person-centred care to individuals in their own homes, supporting a diverse client group including:
- Elderly service users
- Adults with physical disabilities
- Individuals with learning disabilities
- Individuals with mental health needs
This is an excellent opportunity for experienced carers or individuals seeking to begin a long-term career in health and social care.
Key Responsibilities
- Personal care (washing, dressing, toileting)
- Medication support and administration (following training)
- PEG feeding support (where trained)
- Supporting service users with mental health needs
- Meal preparation and light household duties
- Promoting independence and community engagement
- Accurate completion of care plans and daily records
- Ensuring safeguarding and CQC compliance standards are maintained
Requirements
Essential:
- Compassionate and professional approach
- Reliable and flexible to work varied shifts
- Available for approximately 40 hours per week
- Good communication skills
Desirable:
- Previous experience as a Care Assistant, Support Worker, or Healthcare Assistant
- Experience supporting mental health clients
- PEG feeding training
- Full UK driving licence
Full training and induction provided.
