Job Overview
We are seeking a passionate and energetic fully qualified, experienced Full-Time Hairdresser to join our vibrant salon team! In this dynamic role, you will deliver exceptional hair styling, cutting, coloring services to a diverse clientele. We are a Goldwell Salon and full training will be given by our in house Goldwell Master colourist and Kerasilk treatment specialist. Alongside this we visit the Goldwell Academy in London for additional training.
Responsibilities
- Provide professional hair cutting, styling, coloring, and grooming services tailored to each client’s preferences and needs
- Assist clients with consultations to recommend suitable hairstyles, treatments, and product recommendations
- Maintain a clean, organized workspace adhering to health and safety standards
- Upsell retail products and additional services to maximize client satisfaction and salon revenue
- Mentor junior team members by sharing techniques and best practices in hairdressing and customer service
- Manage front desk duties including appointment scheduling, client check-in/out, and answering inquiries with excellent communication skills
Requirements
- Proven experience as a professional hairdresser with a strong portfolio of work
- Skills in barbering, hair coloring, styling, extensions and keratin treatments
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively and build rapport with clients
- Ability to manage store operations including appointment flow and retail upselling
- Strong mentoring abilities to support team development
