*Exciting New Nursery and Manager Role*
We are seeking a passionate and dynamic Full-Time Nursery Manager to help create a new nursery and to lead and inspire a vibrant early childhood education environment. This pivotal role involves creating a new nursery which requires a qualified nursery to set up the Newley opening nursery with their very own style and vision, from working alongside the owners, care inspector to overseeing daily nursery operations, ensuring the delivery of high-quality childcare, and fostering a nurturing atmosphere where children can thrive. As a full-time leader, you will manage staff, coordinate activities, and uphold safety standards while creating an engaging space for young learners to explore, develop, and grow. Your leadership will be instrumental in shaping positive experiences for children, parents, and staff alike.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the daily operations of the nursery, ensuring smooth and efficient functioning.
- Supervise and support nursery staff, providing guidance, training, and motivation to maintain high standards of childcare.
- Develop and implement age-appropriate educational programs that promote early childhood development.
- Foster a safe, welcoming, and inclusive environment that encourages children’s curiosity and social skills.
- Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding children’s progress, concerns, and nursery activities.
- Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and regulatory requirements related to childcare services.
- Oversee administrative tasks such as record keeping, scheduling, and maintaining nursery policies.
Requirements
- Proven management experience within a childcare or nursery setting.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide a team of early childhood professionals.
- Extensive experience working with children in educational or childcare environments.
- Knowledge of early childhood education principles and best practices in childcare.
- Excellent communication skills in English to liaise confidently with staff and parents.
- Valid childcare or nursery qualification (e.g., Level 3 Childcare Qualification or equivalent).
- Valid driving license is preferred for transportation duties or outreach activities.

Pay: £32,000.00-£37,000.00 per year
