Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Associate Dentist to join our dynamic dental practice. The ideal candidate will be dedicated to providing high-quality dental care and ensuring patient satisfaction. This role requires a strong understanding of dental procedures, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively within a team. £14.00 per UDA plus great private potential shared at 50%
Duties
- Perform comprehensive dental examinations and assessments for patients.
- Develop and implement individualised treatment plans based on patient needs.
- Carry out a range of dental procedures including fillings, extractions, root canals, and crowns.
- Utilise CAD (Computer-Aided Design) technology for restorative procedures.
- Interpret medical imaging to assist in diagnosis and treatment planning.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in compliance with regulatory standards.
- Educate patients on oral health care practices and preventive measures.
- Collaborate with dental hygienists, assistants, and administrative staff to ensure smooth operations within the practice.
- Stay updated with advancements in dentistry and participate in continuing education opportunities.
Experience
- A recognised dental degree (BDS or equivalent) and current registration with the General Dental Council (GDC).
- Familiarity with medical imaging techniques is beneficial.
- Strong knowledge of human anatomy as it pertains to dentistry.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with patients of all ages.
