We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Barista to join our vibrant team. As a Barista, you will play a crucial role in creating a welcoming atmosphere for our customers while preparing high-quality beverages and food items. Your ability to manage time effectively and ensure food safety will contribute to the overall success of our café. Duties
- Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including coffee, tea, and specialty drinks.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the café area, ensuring compliance with food safety standards.
- Assist in food preparation, including pastries and ssandwiches, while adhering to health regulations.
- Engage with customers in a friendly manner, taking orders accurately and efficiently.
- Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure timely service.
- Handle cash transactions and maintain accurate records of sales.
- Collaborate with team members to create a positive work environment.
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a Barista or in a similar customer service role is essential.
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently.
- Basic maths skills for handling cash transactions and calculating change.
- Knowledge of food preparation techniques and food safety practices is an advantage.
- Excellent communication skills with a friendly disposition towards customers.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as required.
