Overview
We are seeking reliable and professional Van Drivers to join our team. The successful candidates will be responsible for efficient disposal of Items,Rubbish, weeds, safely to various locations, ensuring excellent service and customer satisfaction. This role offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment with a focus on safety, punctuality, and professionalism. Candidates must possess a valid driver’s licence, own a van and have previous experience in delivery or commercial driving.
Duties
- Safely operate vans to dispose rubbish for clients and designated locations within scheduled timeframes
- Load and unload items, including heavy lifting when necessary, ensuring proper handling and securement of cargo
- Plan delivery routes effectively to optimise efficiency and minimise delays
- Communicate clearly with clients and team members regarding delivery times, issues, or delays
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, fuel consumption, and vehicle maintenance needs
- Conduct routine vehicle inspections before and after shifts to ensure safety standards are met
- Assist with warehouse duties such as stock organisation and inventory management when required
- Follow all road safety regulations and company policies during all driving activities
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a delivery driver or in commercial driving roles is preferred
- Must Own a Van
- Valid driver’s licence with a clean driving record
- Experience with warehouse operations or logistics is advantageous
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently
- Excellent communication skills for liaising with clients and team members
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage time effectively
- Physically fit to handle long periods of driving and manual handling tasks
- Knowledge of local routes and traffic regulations within the area is desirable

Pay: £13.00-£13.10 per hour
