Senior Stylist, Merluza Hair & Beauty, Hall Green, Birmingham
Full or part time (minimum 16 hours guaranteed)
Merluza Hair & Beauty is an established Hall Green salon of 28 years with a reputation for excellence in colour, cutting and client satisfaction. We're looking for a Senior Stylist confident in all aspects of hairdressing to join our professional, supportive team.
The role
- Deliver one-to-one consultations tailored to each client's preferences, recommending the best treatments and services
- Perform the full range of services: cutting, blow-drying short and long hair, and all colour techniques including balayage, highlights and colour correction
- Maintain a high standard of service, including rebooking clients and recommending retail products and further services
- Uphold excellent hygiene, health and safety, and salon cleanliness
What we're looking for
- Fully qualified with a minimum of 6 years' experience in a commercial salon environment
- A strong portfolio demonstrating your skills
- An excellent communicator who engages naturally with clients and the team
- Able to recommend products and services while maintaining genuine client relationships
- Organised, able to multi-task, reliable and professional, with a real passion for the industry skilled in cutting, colouring, styling, highlights, balayage, colour correction, and hair treatments and attention to detail..
