SEND Teacher | September 2026 Start
A specialist ASD school is seeking dedicated and passionate SEND Teachers to join their team from September.
The school supports students from primary through to sixth form who have Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and SLD. With small class sizes of up to 8 students and excellent support from 3–6 Teaching Assistants per class, this is an ideal opportunity for educators who are committed to making a meaningful impact.
- Location: West Drayton (UB8)
- Hours: Monday to Friday, 08:30am – 4:15pm
- Start Date: September 2026
- Pay: £180–£220 per day (dependent on experience)
Essential Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or Qualified Teacher Learning and Skills (QTLS)
- Enhanced DBS check and satisfactory references
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to support students with physical, sensory, and behavioural needs
- Willingness to provide personal care where required
Desirable Experience:
- Experience working with students with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and SLD
- Knowledge of PECS, AAC, visual schedules, and Now & Next boards
- Understanding of Positive Behaviour Support (PBS)
- Team Teach training
- Experience supporting behaviours that challenge
- Awareness of sensory processing needs
- Experience working with pre-verbal learners
