We are looking for an enthusiastic, dynamic and highly motivated individual to assist in maintaining a high standard of care in a busy operational service environment.
This position will be ideal for a passionate team player dedicated to providing the highest level of service expected within this division.
Working in collaboration with both administrative and clinical staff, the post holder will work towards achieving an accurate and detailed knowledge of the department. Duties include liaising with Consultants, Junior Doctors and Clerical Teams to ensure there is no gaps in the service we provide to our patients.
The ideal candidate will work well within a team and be considerate and flexible to cater to the department's needs. You will be self motivated and confident in staff at all levels. Excellent communication and organisational skills are essential together with the ability to work well under pressure.
A good general education is essential. A knowledge of the Trust systems would be desirable.
The role will be primarily based at Broomfield Hospital.
Within this role you will take responsibility for the management and maintenance of medical rotas, ensuring schedules remain accurate, up to date and effectively communicated across the Trust. Working closely with coordinators, managers and clinical teams, you will help ensure that staffing requirements are met and that services are supported by safe and efficient workforce planning.
The successful candidate will provide accurate workforce data, reports and recruitment information to Clinical Directors and other key stakeholders, supporting informed decision-making and workforce planning initiatives. Strong analytical and communication skills will be essential, as you will regularly monitor staffing levels and produce reports to support operational and strategic objectives.
A key aspect of the role is ensuring compliance with workforce policies and legislation. You will be responsible for monitoring rotas to ensure adherence to the European Working Time Directive and the 2016 Junior Doctor Contract, helping to maintain safe working practices and contractual compliance across the organisation.
