Job Summary
We are seeking a talented and motivated Self Employed Barber to provide professional grooming services to clients. As a self-employed professional, you will manage your own schedule and operations, ensuring a personalised experience for each customer.
Duties
- Deliver a wide range of barbering services including haircuts, beard trims, and grooming treatments customised to client preferences
- Provide excellent customer service by engaging with clients professionally and courteously
- Maintain high standards of hygiene and cleanliness in your workspace and tools
- Build and retain a loyal client base through personalised service and effective communication
- Manage appointments, bookings, and payments efficiently
- Stay updated with the latest trends in hair styling and barbering techniques
- Communicate clearly with clients to understand their needs and offer suitable recommendations
Experience
- Proven experience in barbering or hair styling, with a strong portfolio of work preferred
- Demonstrable skills in barbering techniques including fades, line-ups, beard shaping, and colouring if applicable
- Excellent communication skills in English to effectively interact with diverse clients
- Strong customer service skills to ensure client satisfaction and repeat business
- Ability to work independently with organisation and professionalism
- Knowledge of current trends in men's grooming and hair fashion is desirable

Pay: £24,420.00-£50,923.97 per year
