About the Role
As a Children's Support Worker, you'll be at the heart of the support we provide to children and young people with emotional and behavioural needs across residential settings and community-based support packages.
This is a rewarding, hands-on role where you'll provide stability, structure and positive role modelling while helping young people work towards their individual goals.
From supporting daily routines and encouraging independence to helping with education, activities and difficult moments, you'll have the opportunity to become a trusted and positive influence in a young person's life.

What You'll Be Doing
- Providing safe, consistent and trauma-informed support.
- Building positive, professional relationships based on trust and respect.
- Supporting education, life skills and independence.
- Encouraging participation in hobbies, activities and healthy routines.
- Transporting young people to school, appointments and community activities.
- Working alongside professionals to deliver high-quality care.
- Completing accurate records and contributing to safeguarding processes.

Essential Requirements
- Full UK driving licence.
- Access to your own vehicle for work.
- Ability to work a minimum of 3 shifts per week.
- Willingness to complete an Enhanced DBS check.
Desirable
- Previous experience supporting children or young people (paid or voluntary).
- NVQ Level 3 in Children's Residential Care or equivalent.
