Agency Chef – Poole, Bournemouth & Surrounding Areas
Minster Chefs Ltd are looking for another reliable and experienced Agency Chef to join our team of chefs working across a variety of client kitchens in the Poole, Bournemouth and surrounding areas.
We supply chefs to a range of clients, including care homes, schools, nurseries, residential settings and hospitality businesses. This is a great opportunity for a chef who enjoys variety, flexibility and working in different kitchen environments.
The role will include:
- Preparing and cooking fresh, nutritious meals
- Baking homemade cakes and Desserts
- Working in a variety of client kitchens
- Following food safety, hygiene and allergen procedures
- Adapting to different menus and kitchen teams
- Supporting care, education and hospitality clients as required
- Maintaining high standards of cleanliness and professionalism
The ideal candidate will have:
- Previous experience as a Sous Chef or Head Chef
- Experience in the care or education sector would be an advantage
- Good knowledge of food hygiene and allergens
- A flexible and reliable approach to work
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Good communication skills
- Access to your own transport would be useful, but is not essential
Requirements:
- Enhanced DBS clearance will be required for this role
- Food safety level 2 and 3 or willingness to complete level 3
- Previous professional kitchen experience essential
- Right to work in the UK
