Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook a variety of dishes, ensuring high standards of quality and presentation
- Oversee daily kitchen operations, maintaining food safety and hygiene standards in accordance with regulations
- Manage front of house staff, including serving customers and ensuring excellent service delivery
- Supervise team members, providing guidance, training, and support to optimise performance
- Coordinate food orders, stock levels, and inventory management to ensure smooth operations
- Lead by example in delivering outstanding customer experiences through attentive service and professionalism
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen and dining areas at all times
- Collaborate with management on menu planning, special events, and promotional activities
Qualifications
- Proven experience in a culinary role with a strong background in food preparation and cooking
- Supervising experience within a restaurant or hospitality environment
- Knowledge of food safety standards and regulations
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to manage a diverse team effectively
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail in both kitchen operations and customer service
- Previous restaurant experience is preferred, along with a passion for hospitality and guest satisfaction
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining high standards of quality and service
