Bath College seeks a personable and organised Digital Support & Learning Resources Coordinator. The postholder will coordinate the day-to-day activities of our Digital Support & Learning Resources team which delivers library and first-line IT support services across the college. They will also provide broader support to the IT & Learning Resources department, administering finance systems for a busy budget that supports procurement of a range of business and educational products. This is a great opportunity for an experienced librarian or helpdesk technician to step into a more senior role. Previous experience across both libraries and IT is not essential, and training will be provided by our supportive and friendly team to support the postholder to cover the breadth of the role.

Coordinate Digital Support & Learning Resources Services
- Create appropriate schedules to deploy staff ensuring that services are provided to all sites throughout advertised times.
- Monitor the Service Desk system to ensure timely resolution of incidents and requests or escalate to the Senior IT Engineer where deadlines are at risk of being breached.
- Act as a point of escalation for first-line staff handling IT tickets, providing guidance on next steps, directing incidents to IT Engineers, or creating change requests / problems as appropriate.
- Work with curriculum managers, tutors, course teams, and service providers to identify and develop appropriate resources and services to support effective teaching and learning.
- Communicate service changes, times of planned maintenance, and information about unplanned outages to customers.
- Coordinate ongoing asset checks to ensure recorded location of assets is accurate and any exceptions are investigated and resolved.
- Ensure that services are delivered effectively with regard to safeguarding, health & safety, and security policies, reporting incidents appropriately.
