Duties
- Safely operate PSV (Public Service Vehicle) buses or coaches on scheduled routes or private hire services, adhering strictly to traffic laws and company policies
- Conduct pre-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety, including checking brakes, lights, tires, and mechanical systems
- Communicate clearly with passengers, providing information about routes, stops, and safety procedures in fluent English
- Assist passengers with boarding and alighting, including those with mobility challenges or special needs
- Maintain accurate logs of trips, mileage, and any incidents during shifts
- Perform routine vehicle maintenance tasks or report mechanical issues promptly to ensure optimal performance
- Follow all health and safety regulations to guarantee passenger safety and comfort at all times
Experience
- Proven commercial driving experience with a valid PSV license or equivalent qualification
- Prior experience as a delivery driver or van driver is highly desirable
- Strong mechanical knowledge of vehicle systems to assist with basic maintenance and troubleshooting
- Excellent communication skills in English to interact effectively with passengers and team members
- Demonstrated ability to operate vehicles safely in diverse traffic conditions
- Experience in customer service roles that require clear communication and professional demeanor

Pay: £15.00-£17.50 per hour
