Food & Beverage Assistant – Baloci Restaurant & Hotel
At Baloci, we are seeking a polished, professional, and service-driven Food & Beverage Assistant to join our premium hospitality team. As a Michelin Guide-listed venue, we pride ourselves on delivering exceptional guest experiences through outstanding food, refined service, and high-quality drinks.
We are specifically looking for candidates with strong bar and cocktail experience who understand premium hospitality standards and have previously worked within quality restaurants, boutique hotels, cocktail bars, or upscale dining environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver exceptional food and beverage service in a professional and attentive manner.
- Prepare and serve cocktails, wines, spirits, and beverages to a high standard.
- Provide knowledgeable recommendations to guests and confidently discuss menus and drinks.
- Ensure seamless communication with kitchen and management teams to maintain efficient service.
- Set up and maintain dining and bar areas to premium presentation standards.
- Maintain cleanliness, organisation, and compliance with all food hygiene and health & safety procedures.
- Create a welcoming and memorable guest experience aligned with the standards of a Michelin Guide-listed venue.
- Support the wider team during busy service periods while maintaining composure and professionalism.
Requirements & Experience
- Previous experience within a premium restaurant, boutique hotel, cocktail bar, or quality hospitality venue is essential.
- Strong bar and cocktail-making experience is required.
- Experience delivering high-end customer service within a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a confident and professional manner.
- Strong attention to detail and presentation standards.
- Ability to work calmly under pressure and maintain exceptional service standards at all times.
- A genuine passion for hospitality, food, drinks, and guest experience.
What We’re Looking For
We are looking for individuals who take pride in their work, understand premium hospitality, and can represent the Baloci brand professionally. The ideal candidate will be personable, well-presented, proactive, and capable of delivering the level of service expected within a Michelin Guide-recognised establishment.
Pay: £12.70-£13.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20.0 – 30.0 per week
