Warping Manager
Location: Yorkshire
Salary: Dependent on experience
Shifts: Rotating days and afternoons
We are working with a long-standing and well-established textile manufacturer in Yorkshire who are looking for an experienced Warping Manager to join their team.
This is a hands-on management role, so you’ll need to be confident working on warping machinery as well as overseeing the day-to-day running of the department.
The Role
You will be responsible for:
- Managing and supporting a team of 4
- Overseeing the day-to-day warping operation
- Ensuring production targets and quality standards are maintained
- Working hands-on with the machinery when required
- Supporting and developing your team
- Helping to maintain a safe, efficient and productive working environment
About You
We’re looking for someone with:
- Previous warping experience within a textile manufacturing environment
- Management or supervisory experience
- A hands-on approach and willingness to work on the machines
- Good knowledge of textile mill operations
- Strong communication and people-management skills
We are also happy to consider an experienced warper who has management or supervisory experience in another area of a textile mill.
