The Headteacher and governing body are seeking to appoint an outstanding and enthusiastic Senior Support Officer. The position calls for an innovative professional with expertise in leading successful teams within a school setting. The position allows the opportunity to take responsible for the organisation and management of all administrative operations and to join the successful team in this vibrant school.

You will be responsible for:
Administration- Office Management
- Management of school finances
- The school site (buildings and grounds), including organising repairs, maintenance and cleaning
- Health, Safety and risk assessment procedures
- Managing and developing the use of school facilities, including after school clubs, out of school clubs and lettings
- Line management of staff: administration staff team (SSO Family Engagement Officer) lunch time supervisors, caretaker and cleaning staff
- CPD systems
- Monitoring staff/ pupil attendance
Holidays must be taken during school closure periods. The appointment process will involve an interview with members of the school leadership team and a selection of Governors.
This position is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (1974) and is subject to an enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service Check (DBS).
