Job Overview
We are seeking a reliable, experienced cleaning operative (part time) to join our successful team working a mixture of mornings, evenings and weekends. Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of designated areas, including floors, surfaces, restrooms, and communal spaces using appropriate cleaning equipment and supplies
- Ensure all cleaning tasks are completed efficiently within scheduled times to maintain operational flow
- Restock supplies such as paper towels, soap dispensers, and toilet rolls to ensure continuous availability
- Follow health and safety guidelines diligently to prevent accidents and maintain a safe working environment
- Report any maintenance issues or hazards promptly to management for swift resolution
- Maintain detailed records of cleaning activities and supply usage as required
- Support team members during busy periods or special cleaning projects to uphold cleanliness standards
Skills
- Proven experience in commercial cleaning with a strong understanding of cleaning procedures and safety protocols
- Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to delivering high-quality results
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while managing time effectively
- Strong communication skills to follow instructions clearly and report issues accurately
- Physical stamina to perform manual tasks such as lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations related to cleaning operations
- Positive attitude with a proactive approach to maintaining cleanliness standards
- Must hold a valid UK driving licence (vehicle provided)
