About the Role
We are looking for a friendly, hard-working, can-do attitude with initiative and drive. We are a busy team, but independence and initiative are valued highly. We are looking for someone to see what needs to be done and complete tasks with no prompts, especially when looking after a section of tables.
At least 16.5hr/week, to include:
- Thursday 8am-1pm
- Friday 8am-1pm
- Saturday 8am-1pm & 4pm-7pm.
- Plus overtime and frequent holiday cover
Requirements
We are looking for a commis chef to join our busy, ever-growing team. The commis chef we are looking for is hard-working, calm under pressure, and willing to learn and work hard. There is plenty of scope to progress and develop skills under a highly skilled, friendly head chef and kitchen team.
REQUIRED:
- 16+
- Must be willing to work unsociable hours and split shifts.
- Friendly and reliable.
- Able to work confidently in a busy, fast-paced environment.
- Able to be on feet for long periods of time.
- Willing to learn.
DESIRABLE:
- Experience working in a kitchen.
- 18+
- Flexibility to cover occasional weekday shifts.
About the Company
Ugly Mug is an independent bistro in Wellingborough town centre, open 7 days a week.
We serve coffee, cake, breakfast and lunch daily, plus afternoon teas, bottomless brunch, evenings, tapas, cocktails and private events.
