Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Care Assistant to provide high-quality support to individuals in care homes and within their own homes. The successful candidate will play a vital role in assisting with daily activities, ensuring residents' comfort, and promoting their independence. Duties
- Assist residents with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Support individuals with mobility and transfer needs, ensuring safety at all times
- Help with meal preparation and feeding as required
- Follow care plans meticulously to meet each resident’s specific needs
- Maintain accurate records of care provided using IT systems
- Communicate effectively with residents, families, and team members to ensure consistent care delivery
- Support residents in engaging with social activities and maintaining their well-being
- Drive residents to appointments or outings when necessary, adhering to safety protocols
Experience
- Previous experience working within a care home or providing home care is desirable but not essential; full training will be provided
- Knowledge of care plans and the ability to implement them effectively
- Good IT skills for documentation purposes
- Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written
- Valid driving licence is essential for roles involving transportation of residents or equipment
- Compassionate attitude with a genuine interest in supporting vulnerable individuals
- Drivers Licence and access to a car

Pay: £13.80-£14.00 per hour
