Job Summary

Responsibilities
- Assist with food preparation and meal assembly in accordance with health and safety standards
- Support the kitchen team in maintaining cleanliness and organisation of work areas
- Prepare ingredients and assist with basic cooking tasks under supervision
- Ensure food safety protocols are followed at all times
- Serve meals to customers or staff in a courteous and professional manner
- Help with stock rotation, inventory checks, and restocking supplies as needed
- Follow hygiene standards diligently to uphold the quality of food served
- Support catering events by preparing and serving food as required
Skills
- Previous experience in catering, cooking, or restaurant environments is desirable
- Strong understanding of food preparation and kitchen safety procedures
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Good organisational skills with the ability to multitask effectively
- Excellent communication skills and a friendly demeanour when serving customers or staff
- Knowledge of meal preparation techniques and culinary practices is advantageous
- Willingness to learn new skills and adapt to different kitchen roles
- Basic understanding of food safety regulations and standards
