Previous experience within protection or financial services is desirable, but it isn’t essential. The Role:
As a Protection Adviser at Waddle, you’ll help clients protect themselves, their families and their financial futures. You’ll speak with clients to understand their circumstances and needs, identify gaps in their existing cover and recommend suitable protection solutions.
You’ll manage clients through the advice journey, from the initial conversation through to application and beyond. This includes completing detailed fact-finds, asking the right questions, explaining recommendations clearly and ensuring clients understand the value of the protection they’re putting in place.
The role is client-focused, commercially driven and supported by ongoing training and development. You’ll work with a range of products and providers, while receiving regular coaching and feedback to build your knowledge and confidence.

Key Responsibilities:
- To provide expert, tailored advice across a broad range of protection products and providers
- Provide high quality, compliant protection advice based on clients individual needs, circumstances and objectives
- Build strong, long term relationships with clients and maintain high levels of communication, by always putting the client first.
- Support client retention and identify opportunities for future protection reviews
- Maintaining accurate records and ensuring all advice meets FCA requirements and internal compliance standards
- Keep up to date with product, provider, regulatory and industry changes
- Managing your own workload effectively while maintaining a consistently high standard of client service
- Working collaboratively with colleagues to ensure a seamless client experience
About you:
- Experience in either protection industry or business protection is desirable.
- Experience in sales focused industry.
- A degree in business management, accounting, finance or other related subjects is desirable.
- Highly organised and detail-oriented.
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
- Results-driven with a proactive approach to identifying opportunities
- Motivated, ambitious, and committed to professional development
- Be able to work collaboratively through best shared practice
- Ability to speak with high networth individuals
