Summary of Role:
Reporting directly to the Stores Team Leader this person is part of a team who is responsible for controlling the materials held within the stores at Capula.
This involves:
Taking receipt of deliveries
Processing the delivery in the Enterprise resource planning (ERP) system ensuring documentation is verified and retained.
Maintain the electronic inventory management system
Store materials ensuring they can be easily identified, and their condition is preserved
Liaising with the production team and engineers to understand what parts or components they require in line with their project delivery programmes
Control the issue of materials to ensure traceability is maintained
Ordering and maintaining a stock of consumables where not covered by consignment stock.
Control the issue of PPE ensuring records are maintained
Control the calibration of tools and equipment ensuring the calibration database is maintained
The individual must be well organised with a methodical approach, a right first-time attitude, be committed to continual improvement, have a positive and helpful manner whilst ensuring control of materials is maintained, to support the Production Team's successful and timely delivery of Capula built control panels and equipment.
This role is predominantly a week day role however occasional weekend working may be required.
Normal working hours are 08:00-16:30 Monday to Thursday 30 min unpaid lunch. 08:00 to 13:30 Friday Week 1, 08:00 - 16:30 Friday week 2 with a 30 minute lunch.

Desirable Knowledge:
Knowledge of electrical components / electrical background
