As a Cleaning Operative, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality cleaning services that ensure the comfort and safety of all occupants and visitors. Hours of work are flexible between 3.30pm and 9pm - 2.5 hours a day, Monday - Friday
Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of designated areas, including floors, surfaces, restrooms, and communal spaces, using appropriate cleaning equipment and products.
- Ensure all cleaning tasks are completed efficiently within scheduled timeframes while maintaining high standards of hygiene.
- Restock supplies such as paper towels, soap, and toilet paper to ensure continuous availability.
- Follow health and safety guidelines rigorously to prevent accidents and ensure a safe working environment.
- Report any maintenance issues or damages observed during cleaning routines to the supervisor promptly.
- Maintain cleanliness logs and complete checklists to document completed tasks accurately.
- Collaborate with team members to cover different areas as needed, supporting overall operational efficiency.
Requirements
- Proven experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial work is preferred.
- A DBS is required for this role or willingness to apply for one.
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to delivering high-quality results.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while following instructions carefully.
- Good physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks such as sweeping, mopping, lifting, and standing for extended periods.
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations related to cleaning practices.
- Reliable and punctual with excellent time management skills.
