About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Clamshell Lorry Driver to join our team, working on high-profile Scottish Power projects. You will play a vital role in the safe and efficient removal and delivery of materials, supporting essential infrastructure upgrades across the region.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operating grab lorries (Class 2 HGV) to transport and load/unload materials.
- Working closely with site teams to ensure timely clearance and deliveries.
- Ensuring all operations comply with health and safety regulations.
- Conducting daily vehicle checks and maintaining records.
- Representing the company professionally on all Scottish Power sites.
Requirements:
- Valid Class 2 (Category C) HGV licence.
- ALLMI Grab (Loader) Certification or equivalent.
- CPC and Digital Tachograph Card.
- Strong understanding of health, safety, and environmental regulations.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Flexibility for occasional overtime and varied shift patterns.
Desirable:
- Streetworks (NRSWA) Certification.
- Previous experience working on utility projects (preferably with Scottish Power or similar).
- SHEA Power Passport or similar utility-sector safety accreditation.
- Experience driving in urban and rural environments.

Pay: £45,000.00-£52,000.00 per year
