NEW Electrical Distributors is a growing independent electrical wholesaler supplying electrical contractors, installers and trade customers across the UK. We pride ourselves on excellent customer service, competitive pricing and building long-term relationships with our customers.
We’re looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Area Sales Executive to join our Coventry branch and help grow our customer base throughout the surrounding area.
The Role
This is a field-based sales position where you’ll be responsible for developing new business while maintaining and growing relationships with existing customers.
You’ll spend your time visiting electrical contractors, installers and commercial customers, identifying new opportunities and promoting our extensive range of electrical products and solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop new business opportunities within your territory
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing customers
- Visit customers regularly to understand their requirements
- Generate quotations and follow up sales opportunities
- Promote NEW’s extensive range of electrical products
- Work closely with the Coventry branch team to deliver outstanding customer service
- Meet agreed sales and profitability targets
- Keep up to date with industry trends and product developments
About You
We’re looking for someone who:
- Has previous field sales or business development experience
- Has excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- Is self-motivated and able to work independently
- Enjoys meeting customers and developing long-term business relationships
- Holds a full UK driving licence
Experience within the electrical wholesale or electrical contracting industry would be an advantage but isn’t essential for the right candidate.
