About the Role

In this role, you will be responsible for identifying, engaging, and onboarding experienced Financial Advisers, Financial Planners, Investment Managers, and wealth management businesses across our affiliation models. You will build strong relationships within the industry, present the Raymond James proposition to prospective recruits, and guide candidates through the entire recruitment journey—from initial engagement through to sign-up.

Key Responsibilities
- Build and maintain a strong pipeline of prospective recruits, including both experienced professionals and new entrants to the industry.
- Identify, engage, and develop relationships with Financial Advisers, Financial Planners, Investment Managers, and business owners.
- Manage the end-to-end recruitment process, guiding prospects from initial contact through assessment, offer, and onboarding.
- Work closely with internal stakeholders to maximise introductions, referrals, and recruitment opportunities.
- Arrange and deliver compelling presentations on the Raymond James proposition to prospective recruits and businesses.
- Assess prospect suitability in line with regulatory requirements, Consumer Duty principles, and business objectives.
- Effectively manage objections, negotiate opportunities, and secure signed agreements.
- Provide market insights and recommendations to enhance our recruitment proposition and competitive positioning.
- Maintain accurate records of all recruitment activity and prospect data.
- Represent Raymond James at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities.
- Support senior leadership with strategic recruitment initiatives and business development projects.
- Ensure all recruitment activities are conducted in line with Raymond James policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
About You
You are a confident relationship-builder with a proven track record of recruiting within the UK Financial Services sector. You bring both commercial awareness and industry expertise, enabling you to build credibility with senior wealth management professionals and business owners.
Essential Experience
- Proven recruitment experience within the UK Financial Services industry.
- Strong understanding of Wealth Management, Investment Management, and Financial Planning markets.
- Experience engaging with senior-level professionals, advisers, and business owners.
- Demonstrated success in managing a recruitment pipeline and delivering against targets.
Preferred Qualifications
- Degree-level education or relevant professional qualification.
- Knowledge of the UK regulatory environment within Wealth Management and Financial Advice.
