P2P Team Leader – Finance Shared Service Centre
Location: Wrexham, Hybrid Working
Are you a people-focused P2P expert with a proven track record leading high-performing teams? Ipsen seeks a P2P Team Leader to drive day-to-day Procure-to-Pay operations within our Finance Shared Service Centre, ensuring compliant, efficient, and high-quality service across SAP and Ariba environments.
What you’ll do
- Lead and prioritise daily P2P activities to meet SLAs; set objectives, coach, and develop team members
- Act as Subject Matter Expert for P2P processes and systems (SAP ECC6/S4HANA, Ariba); oversee PR/PO lifecycle and mailbox management
- Analyse performance data, prepare regular reporting, and drive continuous improvement initiatives
- Manage supplier onboarding and enablement in Ariba; coordinate catalogue testing and cross-functional implementation
- Maintain process documentation, deliver user training, and communicate changes clearly
- Ensure compliance with internal controls, audit requirements, and governance standards
- Build strong relationships with stakeholders across Procurement, IT, Finance, and suppliers
What we’re looking for
- Strong Procure-to-Pay and Accounts Payable knowledge; experience with SAP and procurement platforms, ideally Ariba
- Prior experience leading or coordinating operational teams (shared service or global setting preferred)
- Proven ability to analyse data, drive process improvements, and manage competing priorities
- Excellent communication and training skills; capable of stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration
- Fluent in English; additional European language is a plus
- Travel small to moderate; comfortable in a hybrid work environment
