Cascade are looking for full-time enthusiastic Support Workers to join our growing team. Over the past year, Cascade have opened 2 residential homes in Norwich with scope to open more in the coming year. Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver person-centred care in accordance with agreed standards and regulations (CQC/Ofsted where applicable).
- Support residents with daily living tasks, including personal care, meals, and household activities.
- Promote independence, self-care, and positive behaviour.
- Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to support residents’ wellbeing.
- Maintain accurate records and contribute to care plans and behaviour support plans.
- Build positive relationships with residents, families, and colleagues.
- Support a positive, inclusive, and professional working environment.
- Follow company policies, procedures, and quality standards.
- Assist with problem-solving and day-to-day operational tasks.
What We’re Looking For:
- Must hold a valid UK driver's license (Essential)
- Caring, reliable, and flexible approach to work
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to manage behaviours that may challenge
- Commitment to safeguarding and promoting residents’ rights
- Willingness to work across different sites if required
Training & Development:
- Care Certificate to be completed within 12 weeks of employment.
- For children’s services: willingness to complete Level 3 Diploma in Residential Child Care within 2 years (if not already held).
- Ongoing training and professional development opportunities provided.
