Job Summary
We are seeking a professional and vigilant Door Supervisor to ensure the safety and security of our premises, staff, and visitors. The successful candidate will be responsible for monitoring CCTV control room, maintaining a secure environment, and providing excellent customer service. Responsibilities
- Monitor and control access to the venue or premises, ensuring only authorized individuals enter.
- Conduct regular surveillance using CCTV systems to observe activity and identify potential security threats.
- Implement loss prevention strategies by recognizing suspicious behavior and preventing theft or vandalism.
- Respond promptly to incidents or emergencies, including providing first aid when necessary.
- Maintain a visible presence at entry points, deterring undesirable behavior through professional conduct.
- Keep detailed records of incidents, visitor logs, and security checks as required.
- Collaborate with team members to uphold safety protocols and ensure smooth operations throughout shifts.
Skills
- Proven experience in surveillance and loss prevention techniques.
- Competence in operating CCTV systems effectively.
- First aid certification is highly desirable, with the ability to respond calmly in emergency situations.
- Excellent communication skills with a professional demeanor when interacting with the public.
- Strong observational skills with an eye for detail to detect suspicious activity or safety hazards.
- Ability to remain calm under pressure and handle challenging situations tactfully.
- Organized with good time management skills to ensure all duties are performed efficiently during shifts. Pay: £12.71-£13.50 per hour
