Job Responsibilities
- Carry out responsive plastering and tiling repairs across council properties.
- Complete all aspects of plastering, including patch repairs, skimming and rendering.
- Carry out wall and floor tiling repairs and replacements.
- Diagnose repair requirements and complete work to a high standard.
- Work safely and efficiently while maintaining compliance with health and safety requirements.
- Work as part of the Repairs and Maintenance team to meet service deadlines.
- Maintain tools, equipment and work areas in a safe and tidy condition.
Person Specification
- Proven experience as a Plasterer in a repairs or maintenance environment.
- Strong practical skills in plastering and tiling.
- Experience of responsive repairs and working to deadlines.
- Good understanding of health and safety procedures.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good communication and customer service skills.
- Reliable, professional and adaptable.
- Relevant trade qualifications or equivalent experience.
- Must have appropriate PPE, including safety shoes, high-vis jacket and ballistic trousers.
Pay: £16.62 per hour
