About the Role
As Assistant Manager, you'll support the General Manager in the day-to-day running of the venue, leading by example to deliver exceptional customer service while maintaining the highest operational standards.
This is a hands-on leadership role in a fast-paced, high-volume environment, ideal for someone who enjoys motivating a team, leading from the front, and delivering consistently outstanding service.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the day-to-day management of the venue.
- Lead, motivate and develop the front-of-house team.
- Deliver exceptional customer experiences across both food and beverage service.
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness, presentation and customer service.
- Support the smooth running of both the bar and restaurant operations.
- Assist with staff training, coaching and performance.
- Ensure compliance with licensing laws, food hygiene, health & safety and company procedures.
- Help drive sales through excellent service, product knowledge and upselling.
- Build positive relationships with customers and actively support Mojito's involvement within the local community.
Essential Requirements
- Minimum 2 years' experience in a hospitality management or supervisory role.
- Previous cocktail-making experience with strong product knowledge.
- Previous experience working in a venue serving both food and drinks.
- Good understanding of food service standards and working alongside a kitchen team.
- Experience working in a busy, fast-paced bar or restaurant.
- Excellent leadership, communication and organisational skills.
- A positive, energetic and enthusiastic attitude.
- The ability to remain calm under pressure and lead by example.
- A genuine passion for hospitality and customer service.
- Enjoy working as part of a team.
- Friendly, approachable and confident when engaging with customers.
- Flexible to work evenings, weekends and public holidays.
Desirable
- Personal Licence Holder (preferred but not essential).
- Experience with stock management, ordering and cash handling.
- Experience recruiting, training and developing team members.

Pay: £25,420.00-£30,000.00 per year
