Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Vehicle Body Repair & Painter to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for restoring vehicles to their optimal condition by performing precise body repairs and applying high-quality paint finishes. Your expertise will ensure that each vehicle meets our standards, Appearance, and quality, contributing to customer satisfaction and the overall reputation of our service center. This is an exciting opportunity for someone that is passionate about vehicle restoration, would like to improve there existing skills, ideally skilled in both body/ panel repair, prep and painting but it is not a must in regards to panel repair and on the job training would be given. A trial day would be your interview, by agreeing to prove that you possess the basic skills required is your gateway into this role. And as a positive result in regards to doing so, upon completion and satisfactory inspection, only then the role will be given so if you can perform a small repair (ideally), prep and pain then please don’t hesitate to apply.
Duties
- Use hand tools and power tools to remove dents, replace panels, straighten frames, and perform structural repairs with precision.
- Prepare vehicle surfaces by sanding, grinding, and masking to ensure optimal paint adhesion.
- Apply primer, base coats, clear coats, and finishing paints using spray guns to achieve a smooth, professional finish.
- Conduct heavy lifting tasks safely when handling large panels or components during repair processes.
- Inspect completed work for quality assurance, ensuring all repairs meet high standards.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace while adhering to safety protocols at all times.
Skills
- Proficiency with hand tools such as screwdrivers, hammers, pry bars, and wrenches.
- Experience operating power tools including sanders, grinders, spray guns, and drills.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely when handling vehicle parts or equipment.
- Attention to detail with a focus on achieving high-quality finishes in painting tasks.
- Good problem-solving skills to diagnose issues accurately and implement effective solutions.
- Excellent communication skills for collaborating with team members and following detailed instructions.
