Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Proven experience as a mechanic or in a similar role
- Strong knowledge of automotive systems and components
- Proficient in using diagnostic tools and equipment
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Detail-oriented with good manual dexterity
- Physical stamina to handle the demands of the job
Skills:
- Knowledge of engine repair, electrical systems, and hydraulic systems
- Familiarity with computerized diagnostic tools and software
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics
- Strong communication skills to effectively explain repairs to customers
- Time management skills to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
