Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Delivery Operations Manager to lead and optimise our delivery and logistics functions. Responsibilities
- Lead the planning, coordination, and execution of delivery operations to meet service level agreements and customer expectations.
- Supervise daily activities related to shipping, receiving, transportation management systems.
- Manage relationships with third-party logistics providers (3PL), ensuring compliance with contractual agreements and performance standards.
- Implement process improvements aimed at increasing efficiency, reducing costs, and enhancing overall supply chain performance.
- Monitor profit & loss statements to ensure operational profitability and identify opportunities for financial optimization.
- Ensure safety protocols are followed during all warehouse activities.
Skills
- Proven supervising experience in logistics or supply chain operations with a focus on delivery management preferred but not a specific requirement.
- Expertise in shipping & receiving procedures, warehouse operations, and freight handling including forklift certification.
- Demonstrated ability to lead process improvement initiatives within complex logistics environments.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to motivate teams and foster a culture of continuous improvement.
- Ability to analyse profit & loss data for operational decision-making and strategic planning.
- Full Uk manual Licence required.
