We’re looking for a reliable, hardworking and detail-focused Housekeeper to join the team at Harrison Northern LTD looking after a collection of luxury five-star properties across Carlisle, Longtown and the surrounding countryside.
From stylish Airbnb apartments to elegant private residences, no two days are quite the same. This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys working independently, has a flexible approach and genuinely cares about delivering exceptional standards.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Preparing properties to an immaculate five-star standard between guest stays
- Cleaning and presenting luxury accommodation with exceptional attention to detail
- Managing and organising laundry
- Replenishing welcome supplies and checking each property is fully guest-ready
- Reporting maintenance issues promptly so nothing impacts a guest’s experience
- Travelling between properties across the Carlisle and Longtown area
- Supporting the wider team during busy periods, holidays and peak seasons
What We’re Looking For
- A genuine pride in high standards and presentation
- Excellent attention to detail and an eye for the little things
- Reliability, flexibility and strong time management
- A positive, can-do attitude
- Ability to work independently and efficiently
- Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience preferred, but not essential for the right person
- A full clean UK driving licence is essential
- Own transport would be a strong advantage due to property locations, including Penton near Carlisle
The Role
- 16-hour contract
- Opportunity for additional hours during busy periods and holiday cover
