Overview
We are seeking an experienced skilled Bench Joiner/Machinist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for fabricating, assembling, and finishing high-quality timber and composite components. Responsibilities
- Operate and maintain bench tools, power tools, and specialised machinery to produce precise joinery components.
- Fabricate bespoke timber parts according to technical drawings and specifications.
- Assemble components accurately, ensuring proper fit and finish.
- Use hand tools such as saws, chisels, drills, and sanders to refine finished products.
- Perform heavy lifting of materials safely and efficiently during fabrication and assembly processes.
- Assist with on-site installation where required.
- Maintain a clean and organised workshop environment in compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Collaborate with project managers, architects, or clients to ensure specifications are met consistently.
Skills
- Proven experience in fabrication of joinery.
- Proficiency with hand tools and power tools.
- Strong understanding of assembly techniques and technical drawings.
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
Pay: From £30,160.00 per year
