Duties
- Schedule patient appointments efficiently, balancing provider availability and patient needs
- Manage patient records with accuracy, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with privacy regulations
- Answer phone calls promptly, providing friendly assistance and directing inquiries appropriately
- Take payments accurately ensuring credit control
- Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, emailing and data entry
- Coordinate communication between patients, dental staff, and external providers to facilitate smooth operations
- Maintain a clean, organized front desk area to promote a welcoming atmosphere for all visitors
- Managing clinicians' diaries effectively
- Following up with patients when required
Qualifications/Experience
- Prior office experience demonstrating strong organizational skills and professionalism
- Administrative experience in healthcare or dental settings is highly preferred
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a friendly positive attitude
- A good Communicator
- Reliable and a strong team player
- Proficiency in office software such as Microsoft Office Suite or similar programs. Confident using computers and willing to learn new systems
- Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Knowledge of dental terminology or familiarity is a plus but not required
- Good level of Education
