We are looking for a Production Operative to join our team working in a busy factory on a permanent basis. This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a well-established business that operates 24/7. The ideal candidate must be a team player with an excellent attendance record.
Shift pattern is permanent nights working:
Tuesday to Friday nights: 18:00 – 06:00am ( 4 days per week)

Responsibilities
As a Production Operative, you’ll play a key role in keeping our site operating safely and efficiently. Day-to-day tasks include:
- To ensure a smooth operation of the processing line in line with rules and procedures
- Ensure all relevant paperwork is completed as required by the shift supervisor, storing this correctly
- Pre-start up checks
- Operating machinery
- Checking the quality of the raw material
- Ensure the production areas on site are maintained and in a clean and tidy state
- Ensure the products are produced to the highest possible standard using the equipment available
- Shunter driving
- Tipping raw bulk trailers
- Washing raw bulkers out using a pressure washer
- Liaise with the weighbridge and HGV drivers when required for trailers and information
- Keep the area clean and tidy where possible
Requirements
- Shunter licence is desirable, however full training will be given
- English ESOL Entry 3/Level 1
- Good understanding of Health and Safety
- Team player
- Excellent attendance records
*Due to location own transport is essential.
