Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Restaurant Supervisor to oversee daily operations within our busy Hotel Restaurant. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing staff, ensuring exceptional customer service, and maintaining high standards of food safety and quality. This role offers an exciting opportunity for individuals with a passion for hospitality and strong leadership skills to contribute to a dynamic team environment. The hotel also has a function room which will fall under the restaurant supervisors remit.
Duties
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of restaurant staff to ensure smooth service delivery
- Assist in the organisation of shifts, delegate tasks, and monitor staff performance to optimise efficiency
- Ensure excellent customer service by addressing guest inquiries and resolving any issues promptly
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the dining areas in compliance with health and safety standards and hotel policy.
- Support the training and development of team members to foster a professional and motivated workforce
- Uphold all food safety protocols and ensure compliance with relevant legislation
- Ensure that any event within the hotel are completed to standard.
Skills
- Proven experience in supervising within a restaurant or hospitality environment
- Excellent team management and leadership abilities with a focus on motivating staff
- Experience in serving guests efficiently while maintaining high standards of hospitality
- Ability to organise tasks effectively under pressure in a fast-paced setting
- Good communication skills with an approachable manner towards both staff and customers
- Previous experience in hotel is advantageous but not essential
- Full training will be given to the right candidate.

Pay: £12.71-£13.50 per hour
