Role Summary
Medinet is seeking experienced and highly skilled Paediatric Audiologists to deliver outpatient paediatric audiology clinics.
The successful candidates will provide assessment and rehabilitation hearing aid clinics for preschool and school‑aged children. This role requires experienced practitioners capable of working autonomously within a high‑assurance NHS Paediatric Audiology environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Hearing assessments (30‑minute slots)
- Hearing aid review and rehabilitation appointments (60‑minute slots)
- Manage 8 hours of mixed clinic activity per day.
- Participate in multi‑disciplinary team (MDT) discussions where appropriate.
- Experience working as a Paediatric Audiologist in the NHS.
- Must be able to fit paediatric hearing aids to BSA standards.
- Sessions will be a mix of news, hearing aid reviews/fittings.
- New referrals and backlog patients.
- Under and Over 5's
Essential Requirements
- Qualified and fully competent Paediatric Audiologist with substantial experience in a high‑assurance NHS Paediatric Audiology Department.
- Ability to work independently and manage a paediatric caseload safely and effectively.
- Proficiency with:
- Auditbase
- Otosuite
- Phonak hearing aid programming software
- Demonstrable experience delivering:
- Paediatric audiology assessments
- Rehabilitation and hearing aid fitting/reviews
Must be available during the weekdays (Monday-Friday)
