Job Title: Housekeeper

Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to manage the cleanliness and organization of our three-story home. The ideal candidate will work independently, demonstrating the ability to maintain a high standard of cleanliness while performing a variety of tasks. This physically demanding role requires a proactive attitude, excellent organizational skills, and a love for pets, as you will be caring for a house cat as part of your duties.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform deep cleaning of all areas within the home, including living spaces, bedrooms, and bathrooms.
- Organize and maintain cupboards, storage spaces, and other areas to maximize efficiency and orderliness.
- Handle laundry duties, including washing, ironing, and folding clothes.
- Clean and maintain kitchen appliances, ensuring all equipment is kept in good working condition.
- Schedule and arrange for necessary repairs of household items and appliances as needed.
- Conduct indoor and outdoor cleaning, including dusting, vacuuming, and washing windows.
- Perform light gardening tasks such as weeding, brushing, and maintaining flower beds.
- Care for the house cat, which includes feeding, grooming, and cleaning the litter tray regularly.
- Adhere to a structured cleaning schedule while being flexible to accommodate special requests as needed.
- Ensure that cleaning supplies are stocked and organized, informing the homeowner when replenishment is necessary.
- Drive to run errands as required, including purchasing specific cleaning products and transporting items to the skip.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a housekeeper or in a similar role, preferably in a residential setting.
- Strong understanding of cleaning techniques, products, and safety procedures.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Physically fit and capable of performing the demands of the job, including lifting and moving furniture as necessary.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
- A pet-friendly attitude and experience with cats.
- Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation for errands.
- Trustworthiness and attention to detail are essential.
