About the Role
We are seeking an entry level Junior Retoucher to join INK’s Art Department. This role is ideal for someone with a strong interest in 2D retouching, photography, and digital image creation, alongside a growing desire to learn key technical skills within CGI workflows and visual storytelling.
You’ll play a key role in producing high-quality visual assets, supporting primarily still-based projects, and collaborating closely with creatives across disciplines.
Key Responsibilities:
Digital Imaging & Retouching
- Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop for high-end retouching and compositing
- Confident use of:
- Layer-based workflows for structured, non-destructive editing
- Advanced masking techniques for seamless compositing
- Pen Tool Pathing for precise selections and cutouts
- Blend modes & blending groups to achieve refined visual outcomes
- Basic understanding of image cleanup, colour grading, and finishing for production
Personal Attributes
- Highly creative with exceptional attention to detail
- Self-motivated, proactive, and collaborative
- Organised and capable of managing multiple tasks and deadlines
- Open to feedback with a strong desire to improve and refine work
- Passion for photography, design, 3D, and emerging technologies
- Strong grasp of composition, colour, and visual hierarchy
Communication & Collaboration
- Strong ability to articulate creative thinking and design rationale
- Confident presenting work internally and, when required, to clients
- Effective communicator, able to collaborate across teams and disciplines
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in Design, Digital Arts, or related field
- Awareness of current design, technology, and visual trends
