Senior Embedded Software Engineer/Firmware

Due to continued growth, we're looking for an experienced Senior Embedded Software Engineer/Firmware Engineer to help develop the embedded software that powers our innovative environmental monitoring products.
This is a genuinely collaborative engineering environment where embedded software, electronics and mechanical engineers work closely together to develop reliable, high-quality products. Engineers share ideas openly, solve technical challenges together and are encouraged to take ownership throughout the full product development lifecycle.
This is a hands-on role developing embedded software for innovative new and highly successful existing products, from early concept through to production. You'll work closely with the electronics team to develop robust, reliable firmware, integrate new hardware and help bring innovative products to market.
We're looking for experience in:
- Commercial embedded software/firmware development
- Embedded C
- ARM-based microcontrollers
- Firmware debugging, testing and validation
- Working closely with electronics engineers
- Supporting products throughout the full development lifecycle
- Working collaboratively with electronics engineers throughout product development
Experience with low-power embedded systems, wireless communication or sensor-based products would be advantageous, but isn't essential.
