About the Role
We are looking for a reliable and caring Care Assistant (Cleaning) to join our domiciliary care team in Nottingham. The role involves providing high-quality cleaning and housekeeping support in the homes of our service users, helping them maintain a safe, clean, and comfortable living environment while promoting their independence and dignity.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out general household cleaning duties.
- Vacuum, sweep, mop, and dust all living areas.
- Clean kitchens, bathrooms, toilets, and other household areas.
- Change bed linen and make beds when required.
- Empty bins and dispose of household waste safely.
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
- Follow infection prevention and control procedures.
- Use cleaning products and equipment safely.
- Report any health and safety concerns or maintenance issues to the office.
- Respect each service user's privacy, dignity, choices, and home.
- Complete cleaning records and any required documentation accurately.
- Communicate professionally with service users, families, and the office team.
Essential Requirements
- Caring, trustworthy, and reliable.
- Good communication skills.
- Ability to work independently.
- Good time management and organisational skills.
- Right to work in the UK.
- Willingness to complete mandatory training.
- Previous cleaning or care experience is desirable but not essential, as full training will be provided.

Working Hours
- Days: 2 days per week
- Hours: 10:00 AM – 4:00 PM
- Location: Nottingham
Pay: £12.00-£13.00 per hour
